AshS94 toychicamirre So you have the download, at the top right of your screen (If ur using mozilla firefox) there’s an arrow pointing down. These are your downloads. Click that and find the folder you just downloaded. Now, minimize this tab and click and drag the folder over to your main screen (I sound stupid, but the name escapes me… the screen with ur desktop background and windows/apps and stuff on it. XD) So drag it there, and thenwhat ypu’re going to want to do is: 1. Go to start, or whatever it is (usually located on the bottom right of your screen. For me it’s the windows icon.) 2.At the bottom, it says something like “search programs and files.” Type “Run” and click the program. 3. Now type %APPDATA%/.minecraft/ and hit OK. 4. Find the “saves” folder. 5. Minimize the run program and drag your folder into the “saves” folder. 6. Now open MC and go to single player and find the world. If it is not there, here’s what you should do: (first PLEASE check to see if its there before reading this or else i’ll get you confused.) ________________________________________________________________________ If it isnt there, go back to the run program, and type %APPDATA%/.minecraft/ if it isnt already there.
Now go to “saves”
Now scroll thorugh until you find the folder containing the world (In your case, it’d be the folder that says something like “silence” or idk.)
Click on the folder.
Now the folder thats within the folder is really the only thing necessary, so you’ll want to take out the folder after you click on the big folder. I know this sounds weird and confusing, but basically it isnt running because it doesnt recognize the folder you downloaded as a world. So, you’ll need to strip away the”title folder” aka the folder you just downloaded, and only have the contents (aka the folder within the folder.)
Take that folder out and move it to “saves” and then delete the big folder. Then you should be good! If there’s anything else likedocuments or something within the big folder, dont worry about it. All you need is the folder within the folder.
Sorry if this confuses you, but if nothing else, youtube it. xD
Unzip the file (Sometimes the download comes without compression. Check for a .zip or .rar.) Double-click (or right-click and choose Open) to extract the folder. You may have a folder inside the folder.
Place the files into Minecraft Place the folder in /Users/[USER]/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves. If your minecraft folder is in a different location, use that location instead. if you are unable to find the folder open minecraft go to resource packs click open open resource packs folder and then back track from there
Troubleshooting If the save does not appear in Minecraft:
Check to see if you have a folder inside a folder. Check if you forgot to unzip the folder. Check if Minecraft is using a different minecraft folder.
